He is survived by: his wife Anne Thompson; his children, Lisa Thompson, Lara Thompson, Joe Thompson and Robert Thompson, Jr. (Noelle); and his grandchildren, Shane Johnson (Veronica), Josh Thompson (Mary), Brittannee Williams (Kyle), Jordyn Thompson, Nimue Thompson, Psyche Thompson and Story Thompson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
