We announce the death of Rocco Antonio Ruffini in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delfino Ruffini and Caroline Ruffini (Bomball). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Dawes; his stepdaughter Bethany Gotts (Derek); his sisters, Jill Hughes (Ric) and Julie Peterson (Kent); his niece Lauren Ziegler (Dillon); his nephew Luke Peterson (Trisha); his grandchildren, Callum and Kinley Gotts; his great-niece Zoey Ziegler; his great-nephews, Luca Ziegler and Braxton Peterson; and his pet Sammi.
