She was predeceased by: her parents, Gillam Poole and Elizabeth Poole (Rust); her spouse Dumis Earl Pirtle; and her grandchildren, Michelle and Jason.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda F. Kolba (James), Wanda K, Hullinger of Decatur and Eva A Hantle (Joseph) of LaPlace. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
