We are sad to announce that, on April 26, 2026, at the age of 99, Ruth Rhoades of Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wemple and Marie Wemple (Baker); her husband Preceding; her siblings, Wayne Wemple (Joan), Clifford Wemple (Joann), Pauline Throneburg (Paul) and Maxine Royer (Cecil); her daughter Debi Sinclair; and her son-in-law Keith Sinclair.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ramona Moore (Gary) of Maroa, IL and Kathy Coleman (Bill) of Cerro Gordo, IL; her grandchildren, Kim Ault (Ben), Amy Hines, Zach Coleman (Maxie) and Rachel Gensler (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Mazie, Bailee Coleman, Warner, Ellie Ruth Gensler, Carter Ault and Hadley Hines.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Church of God or Meals on Wheels.
