With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Middleton of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Middleton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Ragle. She is survived by: her mother Erma Ragle; her children, Gina Hoots (Phillip), Jennifer Middleton and Scott Middleton (Renee); her husband Clarence L. Middleton Jr. The; her grandchildren, Meghann, Jacoby (Macklin), Benjamin (Codi), Crosby, Jackson, Colin, Cameron and Lara; and her great grandchildren, Wesley, Corbin, Avett and Josie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Macon County Association for Home and Community Education (IAHCE). (http://www.mchce.org.) In tribute to Sharon's lifelong passion for crafting, the family invites the public to a special Fabric & Quilt Estate Sale featuring her extensive personal fabric collection on August 1st (1p-6p) and 2nd (8a-2p) at the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church Annex, 345 W. Main Street, Mt. Zion, IL.
