With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen John (Decatur, Illinois), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. John and Helen McAlear John; his siblings, James L., George Vincent, Helen James John and Roberta Gosier; and his grandchildren, Josephine and Alexander Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Clune Shiel; his children, Matthew of Albuquerque, Emily Richard (Keith) and Danny (Nikki Haggerty) of Chicago; and his grandchildren, Ash, Alex, Mario and Xavion.
