She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Heger and Alberta Heger (Meador); and her husband Donald Couch. She is survived by: her nephew Kevin Oglesby; and her nieces, Mary Ann Fleckenstein and Teresa Meinero.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County or to the Champaign Humane Society in honor of her life-long love of animals.
