With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas E. Emert of Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Emert and Elizabeth Emert (Hayes); and his brothers, Charles and Douglas Emert. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Emert (Braughton) of Decatur, IL; his children, Michael Emert of Decatur, IL and Katherine Webb (Andrew) of Mt. Zion, IL; his grandchildren, Alainna, Kiera, Arianna, Kaedance and Ashton Webb of Mt. Zion, IL; and his sisters, Katherine Dickenson of Decatur, IL and Madelyn Pugsley (Herb) of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
