He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Leroy and Mary Lou Ferriell (Jenner); and his brother John. He is survived by: his brother Mark Ferriell; his sister-in-law Rosemary Ferriell; his nieces and nephews, Kelly Boerma (Douglas), John Ferriell (Nicole), Mary Jo Leimbach (David), Mark Ferriell (Lori), Robert Ferriell (Courtney) and Alan Ferriell (Brittany); and his close friends, Barry and Lynn Jacobs. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; Three (3) great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Thomas's honor may be made to the Decatur chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, The Decatur Municipal Band, or First United Methodist Church.
