Tyson, Sr. and Vashti Tyson (Minor); his children, Michelle Sangster (Teddra), Shunta Smith (Tylian), Leon Henry (Hannah), A'Jah Tyson, Hope Keys (Venise) and Jackie Henry; his siblings, Larry Tyson (Diane), James Tyson and Suella Bond; his grandchildren, Markeitheo Sangster (Kaylee), Marshaya Lewis (Doron), Brylian Smith, Brandlian Smith, Trayshoun Williams, Candren Williams, Leon Henry, Jr., Wesley Byrd, Jr., Ilyan Byrd, Maryssa Byrd and Makayla Byrd; his great grandchildren, Marlee Sangster, Layla Sangster, Malakai Lewis and Mason Lewis; his uncle Maltimore Minor; and his siblings, Willie E. Tyson, John L. Tyson, Jr., Clarence Tyson and Lee Bertha Tyson. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
