Vada Wond Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 79, Vada Wond in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vada Wond to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Clarence and Lena Katherine Pinkley (Feezel); her husband William Wond; and her sister Sara Pinkley. She is survived by: her daughter Tinamarie Deetz (Todd Messamore); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Colton, Rowan, Isabella and Ava; her stepgrandchildren, Kain Deetz and Ryan Deetz; her siblings, Stephen C. Pinkley and Ellen D. Henton; and her brothers-in-law, Henry Richard Wond (Pat) and Michael Wond. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2727 N Union St, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
