He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Scroggins and Mae Scroggins (Brummett); and his daughter Rebecca Eagan. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Jones of Decatur; and his children, Vicki Jo Webb (Stephen) of Mattoon, Jeffrey Lynn Scroggins of Lovington and Terri Lynne Scroggins of Decatur. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
