He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hamilton and Annabelle Hamilton (Vandlandingham); and his sons-in-law, Todd Bright and Clifford Crawley. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Debra Stivers (Stan) of Shelbyville, Warren E Hamilton Jr. (Kelly) of Macon, Sheila Madden (Tony) of Decatur, Anna Bright of Findlay and Richard Hamilton (Renee) of Oakley; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Tolentino (Filmer), Randy Spaugh Jr., Eric Hamilton (Linze), Samantha Hamilton, Tony Greitman, Jason Babb, Ashley Babb, Brittany Babb, Melissa Nichols (Jeremy), C. J. Crawley, Katie Williams (Isaiah) and Kyndall Hamilton. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM at the Second Church of God (2670 E Division St, Decatur, IL 62521). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at the Macon County Memorial Park (5700 W Main St, Decatur, IL 62522).
