William Aikman Obituary
In loving memory of William Aikman of Decatur, Illinois, who departed this world on April 30, 2025 at the age of 72. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L. Aikman and Sammye L. Aikman (Swango). He is survived by: his wife Janet Combs; his sons, Ryan Aikman (Amy) of Mt. Zion and Chris Aikman (Jennie) of Monticello; his grandchildren, Marissa, Callie, Maggie and Jensen; his brother Robert Aikman (Susan) of Norman, OK; his sister-in-law Andrea Smith (Ron) of Decatur; his pet Kayli; and also Scottish.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grace Methodist Church (901 N Main St, Decatur, IL 62521). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
