It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Bell of Deer Creek, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mark Bell (Tyokyee) of Morton and Lori Fritch (Kim) of Deer Creek; her sisters, Kristin Rochelle of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jennifer Bell of Las Vegas, Nevada; her stepbrother Justin Fritch (Rebekah) of Crystal Lake, Illinois; her grandmother Patsy Wyzlic of Deer Creek; her stepgrandmother Marian Fritch of Mackinaw; her grandparents, Mel, Toadie Bell and James Hines (Barb); and her stepgrandfathers, Denny Wyzlic and Robert Fritch.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bull Run Park (1020 E Jackson St, Morton, IL 61550).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Tazewell County 4-H Galloping Clovers (Galloping Clovers 4-H Club, c/o Dianna Vannaken, 8671 Kessinger Rd, Tremont, IL 61568) or to Central Illinois Riding Therapy (http://www.cirt.info), so Melissa's love for horses and teaching can continue to inspire future riders.
