He was predeceased by: his former wife Rita; and his sister Delores Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Christine Gaples; his children, Tony Gaples and Rebecca Gaples (Simon Harrison); his grandchildren, Liam and Catherine Harrison; and his sister Thaspena Woodward.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home (120 W Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
