He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lyle Boyer and Carrie Boyer (Nelson); his wife Corrinne Johnson; his children, Maggie Richter (Patrick) of Libertyville, Jeffrey (Randy Crow) of Dallas, Alison Gerstad (Edward) of McHenry, Terrence Boyer (Miette) of Tuscola and Lisa Roberts (Brian) of Libertyville; his grandchildren, Scott, Kelli, Michael (Dana), Rachel, Becca, Jillian (Charlie), Nicholas (Brenda), Abigail, Brianne (Bob), Parker, Jacob and Faith; his great grandchildren, Joseph of Henry, CJ, Juliana, Keira, Cameron and Finn; and his siblings, Milt Boyer and Mary Thorne.
