He was predeceased by: his spouse Carmel Alperstein; his parent Chava (late Cantor Paul); and his siblings, Reuben (late Rae) and Sidney Alperstein (late Estelle). He is survived by: his children, Neville Alperstein (Marcelle), Raymon Alperstein (Norma), Sharon Levy (Opher Segev), Janine Sergay and Yvette Jankelowitz (Ivan); his grandchildren, Ryan, Hayley Alperstein, Warren (Sarah), Jodi Rubins (Jon), Haddas Moskovitz (Asaf), Itai Levy (Michal), Greg Alperstein (Carrie), Kelly Jacobson (Zach) and Jamie Sergay; and his great grandchildren, Nadav, Natanel, Ziva, Asher, Shia, Eden, Danielle, Emma, Adam, Arbel, Ofek, Ella, Eitan and Riley.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Shalom Memorial Park (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
