He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Larson (Michael), Michael Smoltich (Sally) and Patricia Overby; his grandchildren, Joe, Sarah, Julie, Laura, Kara, Anna, Christy, Melissa and Jeremy; his sister Rita "Dolly" Gatto; and his sister-in-law Mary "Metsa" Hayenga. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
