She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gergen and Charlotte Gergen (Seigert); and her sister Sandy. She is survived by: her husband Steven Marberry of DeKalb; her daughters, Michele Oswald (John Davis) of Elburn, Nicole Oswald (Mike) of Sugar Grove and Stephanie Keller (Matthew) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Andy, David, Bella, William, Hannah, Madison and Scarlett; and her siblings, Robert Gergen (Rose) and Sherry Einsel (Ron).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (2350 Pride Ave, DeKalb, IL 60115). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
