Diane JANET (Quirin) Strand Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane JANET (Quirin) Strand of DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Diane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Diane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Diane believed deeply that our world needs more kindness, compassion, and truth, so in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Hope Haven Shelter in DeKalb, Illinois, or ProPublica.
