He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Collin and Helene Collin (Misner); his brother Robert Collin; his daughter Karen Anne Collin; and his son-in-law Michael McCarty.
He is survived by: his wife Jacalyn; his children, Mickie Novorolsky (Kevin) of Traverse City, Michigan, Cindy Reed (Scott) of Sycamore, Illinois, Cathy McCarty (Michael) of Bettendorf, Iowa, Donald Collin of Davenport, Iowa, Diane Dorland (Jim) of DeKalb, Illinois and James Collin (Krissy) of DeKalb Illinois; his stepchildren, Lisa Fox (Jim) of Woodridge and Justin Gullstrand of DeKalb, Illinois; his brother Richard Collin; and his pet Oskar. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
