He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Covatta Sr. and Alice Johnson; his wife Helaine Covatta; and his daughter Beverly Covatta. He is survived by: his children, Peter Covatta, Barbara Stevens and Susan Covatta; and his granddaughter Amber (Ben). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Genandt Funeral Home (602 N Elida St, Winnebago, IL 61088). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Olson's Quiram Sycamore Chapel (1245 Somonauk St, Sycamore, IL 60178).
