He was predeceased by: his parents, John Filip and Elizabeth Filip (Decker). He is survived by: his wife Marlynn of DeKalb, IL; his children, Jamieson Filip of Nashville, TN, Vanessa Wowzynski (Steve) of Waupaca, WI, Jared Filip (Shannon) of Salem, WI and Nathan Filip (Catherine) of Beaufort, SC; his stepchildren, David Harder of DeKalb, IL and Jaime Szot of Cortland, IL; and his sister Sharilyn Adam of Saltillo, MS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
