He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hegland and Leona Halverson; his stepfather John Halverson; his brother Roger; his nephew Matthew; and his daughter-in-law Adriana Halverson.

He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Brian, Bruce, Rhonda (Tony Koach) and Randy (Wanda Coriano); and his grandchildren, John, Valerie Koach, Tyler and Jagger Halverson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in the name of Gerald E. Halverson, in care of Anderson Funeral Home.
