Haakon L. Andreasen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 92, Haakon L. Andreasen of DeKalb, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Haakon L. Andreasen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Haakon Andreasen and Lillian Andreasen (Halvorson); and his son Eric Andreasen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Andreasen; his children, Sara Hopkins (Steve), Amy Ochs (Roger), Karl Andreasen (Cynthia Strand) and Elsa Glover (Robert); and his grandchildren, Anders, Peder Hopkins, Lyle, Lars Ochs, Nils, Finn, Liv Andreasen, Nickolai and Julia Glover.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (830 N Annie Glidden Rd, DeKalb, IL 60115).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Compassus Hospice or to a hospice organization of your choice, or Oak Crest Retirement Center.
