Helen R. Teagus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 84, Helen R. Teagus of DeKalb, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Helen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Helen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Evans and Maggie Evans; and her spouse Jesse James Teagus. She is survived by: her children, James F. Teagus (Hattie) of DeKalb, Sherbie Glen (Demitrius) of DeKalb and Jimmie Teagus (Annette) of Dixmoor; and her grandson Eric Teagus. She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.
