He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Benson and Leota Benson (Turnbow); his brother John; and his brother-in-law William Unzicker. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Unizicker (late William), Rebecca Stephens (Robert) and Thomas Benson; and his sister-in-law Susan Robison (Benson). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
