With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Villa of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Artesia, New Mexico, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Villa to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nemesio Villa Sr. and Hejesipa Villa (Granado); and his brothers, Nemesio Villa, Jr. and Francisco "Frank" Granado Villa. He is survived by : his siblings, Benny Villa, Janie Dominguez, Mary Hernandez and Emily Diaz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, his extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the, Our Lady of Grace in Artesia, NM., or to the Sycamore United Methodist Church for Foreign Missions.
