He was predeceased by: his parents, Williard Rutter and Alice Rutter (Francisco); his sister Sally King (Roger); and his in-laws, Arthur and Eugenia Stroyan.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Stroyan of DeKalb; his sons, John Rutter Jr. (Polly) of Naperville, IL and Dan Rutter (Michelle) of Aurora, IL.; his grandchildren, Breanna Rutter, Broc Rutter (Tori), Rachel Rutter, Riley Rutter and Cole Rutter; and his great grandchild Lilly.
