We bid farewell to Joseph R. Kempin of DeKalb, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 19, 2026 at the age of 76. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Margaret (Hanlon) of Galva, IL.; and his brothers, John and Keith. He is survived by: his brothers, James (Karen) of Clearwater, MN and Kurt of Kewanee; and his sister-in-law Sally Kempin of Galesburg. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials made in care of Anderson funeral home will be used for a memorial for Joe decided upon at a later date.
