It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph McFarland of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold McFarland and Mildred McFarland (Crawford); his wife Lonna Ruttman McFarland; his stepchildren, Miles Eggeston, Andrew Kman (Chelsea) and Jillian Kman (Rich Mulvaney); his stepgrandchildren, Austin Eggeston, Lyla Trumper, Amelia Kman, Owen Kman, Sadie Kman, Dylan Mulvaney and Jayden Mulvaney; his sister Ann Wales; his sibling's children, Susan Smith, Diane Wales and Brian Wales; his great-nephews, Michael Smith and Drake Smith; and his great-niece Emma Wales.
A memorial fund has been established for The Barn on Baseline in Genoa.
