We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 96, June Irene Kuusisto (DeKalb, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Yates and Delia Yates (Barchard); her husband Pete; her siblings, Clarence Yates (Shirley), David Yates (June), Florence Gulotta (Joe) and Grace Awe (Arden); and her niece Mary Quist.

She is survived by : her sisters-in-law, June Yates and Mary Kuusisto; and her nieces and nephews, Joe Gulotta (Joy), Steven Yates, Jean Klock, Richard Quist, Brad Yates (Val) and Stephanie Saari. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and great/great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Oaken Acres, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, or charities of your choice.
