Katherine Skarlat Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Skarlat of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kovalchie and Eva Kovalchie (Mucha); her husband Steven S. Skarlat; and her siblings, John, Mary, Ann, Helen and Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Ann Caudill (Marty), Jean Tritle (Mike) and Steven Skarlat (Carol); her grandsons, Steven (Katherine) and James Tritle (Angela); and her siblings, Walter and Rosella. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
