She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen (Rupp) and Mickey Surdyk; and her husband Dick Wells of Joliet. She is survived by : her children, Christine, Robyn (Matt) and Geoffrey (Dacia); her grandchildren, Dominic, Gemma, Martin, Patrick, Rosemary and Hildegard; and her siblings, Shirley Stone (Wayne) and Tom Surdyk (Susan).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Christ the Teacher University Parish (512 Normal Rd, DeKalb, IL 60115).
