She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Strawbridge and Evelyn Strawbridge (Aurand); and her husband Gary Rodger Tripp. She is survived by: her children, Jim Tripp (Cynthia) and Sandra Shoemaker (Michael); her grandchildren, Riley Tripp (Sarah), Bradley Tripp, Wesley Tripp (Brittany), Jeffrey Tripp, Casey Tripp, Joey Tripp, Kenny Tripp, Christina Carpenter (Matthew), Jennifer Keffer, Rebecca Shoemaker (Paul), Michael Shoemaker, Jr. (Brittany) and Matthew Shoemaker (Courtney); her close friend Robert Fleetwood; and her sister Janet Hayes Stewart. She is also survived by her 19 great-grand children and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
