With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Cowan Maffei of DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irving P. Cowan and Jesefa Cowan (Kerschbaumayr); her daughter Christina; and her pets, Agape and Radar.
