It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcia Halverson (DeKalb, Illinois), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Erickson (Shook) and Clarence Erickson; her brothers, Richard, Alan and Art; her daughter-in-law Adriana; her nephew Matt; Gerald "Jerry" Halverson.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Halverson, Bruce Halverson, Rhonda Koach (Tony) and Randy Halverson (Wanda); her grandchildren, John, Valerie, Tyler, Jagger and Mia; and her siblings, Lindy, Paul, Connie, Pat and Kathy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (303 S 7th St, DeKalb, IL 60115).
