She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Schroeder and Margery Della Schroeder (Luse); her husband Donald Baars; her grandson Kristopher; her brother Robert Schroeder; and her son-in-law Tim Talley.
She is survived by: her children, Kandi Talley of DeKalb and Michael Baars of DeKalb; her grandchildren, Heather Talley (Jason) of Indiana, Kimberly Miller (Brett) of Cortland, Patrick Talley of Shabbona, Alyssa Baars-McKay (Ethan) of Mauston and Nikki Baars of Green Bay, Wisconsin; her close friend Carol Lindeberg of DeKalb; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Schroeder. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
