She is survived by: her son Tracy Smith (Karen); her grandchildren, Christopher, Michael (Colby), Allison Smith, Kendall Tate (Justin) and Kayla Oehlberg (Caleb); her daughter Jana Nowak (David); her granddaughter Kaylyn Brooks (Ben); her children, Lara Smith, Kevin Smith (Samantha Gerace) and Kelly Brown (Bradley); her grandchildren, Riley, Haley and Owen Brown; her son Craig Smith (Angela); her grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Madalyn Nowers) and Jessica Smith; her son Kyle Smith; her great grandchildren, Landen, Brysen Smith, Rowan Smith, Collins Tate, Callie Brooks and Mack Smith; her sister Hazel Nichols; her niece Barbara Johnson (Steven); her great-nieces, Stephanie Anthony and Alexandria Orson; her great-nephew Morgan Johnson; her sister-in-law Donna Ferguson; her niece Valerie Stewart Hildebrand; her great-nieces, Sterling and Lucie Stewart; her nephew Jay Ferguson; and her great-nephew George Ferguson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
