She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry William Piel and Alma Lydia Tritch; her husband Dr. Weldon Bradtmueller; and her stepdaughter Marcia Williams. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Taylor, Penelope Klein (Dale), Kurt Bradtmueller (Rhonda) and Pamela Duncan (Randy); and her grandchildren, Catherine Wermeier (Hendrik), Hannah Taylor, Kurt Bradtmueller Jr. (Amber), Steven Bradtmueller (Eliany), John Bradtmueller, Jennifer Southern (Willis), Tammi Gibson (Scott), Tracey Williams, Angie Daily (Bruce), Reda Knalls and Yancy Willams Jr..
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Bradtmueller family, in care of Anderson Funeral Home, PO Box 605, DeKalb, IL 60115 for the Luther Hour and Concordia Lutheran High School, Fort Wayne , Indiana.
