It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joan McIntyre of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tilford Moore and Mary Frances Moore; her son Stephen Leon McIntyre; her husband Ira Franklin McIntyre; and her brother Clark Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Rodney McIntyre (Blanca), Daniel McIntyre (Shari), Janet Gilbert (Richard) and Jodi Carnes. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
