He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Kepner and Laura Kepner (Ernest). He is survived by: his wife Terry Kepner; his children, Nelson Kepner (Charlene) and Sue Garrison; his stepsons, Donny Geralds (Anamaria), Jeffery Geralds (Kimberly) and David Geralds; his granddaughter Emily Garvey (Shaugnessy); and his great grandchild Rorric Liam Neil Garvey.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
