He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Selent and Johanna Selent (Ludwig). He is survived by: his siblings, Henry and Ingrid Peterson (Karl); his nieces, Jill and Brittnay; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joseph, Alyson, Maksim, Penelope and Emilia.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
