He is survived by: his wife Louanne Eckstrom; his children, Patti (Comegys), Brian Eckstrom and Marialuci; his grandchildren, Thomas, George and Louise Schneeberger (Robert); his daughter Elizabeth Bockman (Jon); his grandchildren, Kyle Comegys, Austin and Owen Bockman; his sister-in-law Sandi Vuttera; and his sibling's children, Luke Vuttera and Lisa Johnson (Jon).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Norman Eckstrom, to the First United Methodist Church, 317 North Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115, specifically for the Education and Resource Center.
