It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Otta Ritzman of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Lee, Illinois, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Otta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Otta farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Otto Rygh and Vina Rygh (Jacobson); her husband Allyn Ritzman; and her daughter Diane Bark. She is survived by : her children, Linda (Louise Moore), Roger Ritzman (Barb), Carol Victor (Jon), Nancy Wayman (Mike) and Sue Sokolowsi (Chris Wolfert); and her son-in-law Allen Bark. She is also survived by her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Lutheran Church in memory of Otta Ritzman in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
