It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis R. Riippi (DeKalb, Illinois), who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis R. Riippi to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene E. Richardson and Dorris N. Richardson (Green); and her husband Reino M. Riippi. She is survived by: her children, Jill Riippi of DeKalb and Jay Riippi (Jennifer) of Batavia; and her grandsons, Parker and Cooper Riippi. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and her many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
