He is survived by: his wife Janell Nelson of DeKalb; his daughters, Vanessa DeLos Santos (Sam) of Seattle, WA and Pennie Tempel (Martin Sloot) of Seattle, WA.; his grandchildren, Esme, Lucia and Diego DeLos Santos; his stepsons, Dustin Nelson of Milwaukee, WI and Tobias Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Anderson and Michael Huttunen (Dianna).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethany Road Bible Church (2215 Bethany Rd, DeKalb, IL 60115). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
