He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Fredrick and Harold Fredrick. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Bryan Fredrick (Margaret "Pete") and Suzann Wilder (Bill); his stepsons, Christopher Field (Danielle) and Kevin Field (Beth); and his sister Joyce Roberts (Bill). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Grove School Association, 26745 Brickville Road, Sycamore, IL 60178, where his mother, Helen, once went, as well as to Pheasants Forever and Second Chance Bird Dogs.
