Robert S. Jordal Obituary
We announce the death of Robert S. Jordal of DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 87. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Jordal and Margaret Jordal (Hall); and his wife Garnet Spolum. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Enslen (Rick Peretz) of DeKalb and Nicole Bachert (David) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Mitch Enslen, Taylor Norris (Heath) and Lucas Bachert; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Clara and Armin Norris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (321 Pine St, DeKalb, IL 60115).
